Orbitz Defaults Mac Users With Higher Priced Hotels
Orbitz seems to think all Mac users are rolling in cash so they have decided to present Mac users higher priced hotels/options when Mac users visit the site searching for deals.
UPDATED: To be clear, Orbitz is not charging Mac users more or giving Windows users better deals than Mac users; Orbitz is just trying to get Mac users to spend more money than Windows users. I’m sure Mac users won’t think they are trying to be taken for fools.
This has created a bit of a backlash, which is causing Orbitz to grab onto a Forbes article to help it spin this PR fail by stating “Orbitz serves up luxury options to mac users”.
